Have you ever heard of seed paper? It’s basically paper pulp with seeds embedded in the fibers. There are several tutorials floating around on the internets. Some are more involved and require a lot more ingredients than I was willing to track down. Knowing this was going to be a kid project, I needed simple with a splash of instant gratification.
Don’t you just love it when a plan comes together? More often than not, a lot of my ideas are trial and error. Re-do after re-do, until I get it right. I finally got a break with these little sugar cookie baskets, because they just worked, right from the get.
My sweet boy Jacks, is graduating Kindergarten this week. Insert proud momma moment here. As a parting, celebratory summer gift to his friends, he will be handing out these confetti packets. They are so fun! My kids have been having a blast tossing and re-tossing this handmade confetti. It’s a total cinch to make!
